I've got a Centurion 18" 6mm ARC barrel on order. I have 600 rounds 105gr Hornady Black ammo on hand.
18IN, 6MM ARC BARREL, RIFLE LENGTH GAS 6mm ARC 105 gr BTHP Hornady BLACK Anyone here shoot this ammo out of an 18" barrel? What velocities are you getting? Thanks |

FWIW, all the load data published in the Hornady manual for the 6 ARC, is with an 18" barrel.

My 18" BA Barrel with Hornady 108's is 2610fps in the 80 degrees F range. Only about 250 rounds on it at this point.

I finally got time to get the Hornady 6 ARC 105 gr Black choreographed.
18" Centurion barrel with head spaced bolt. Elevation 920 Temp: 68° Humidity: 22% BP: 30.15 Average for 20 rounds: 2680 fps Shots 2 through 11 through new barrel at 100 yards.   |

 Attached FileThis the first 20 rounds(picked up 18 shots) through my 18” Rexus(sixfiveoutfitters) 6mm Arc SPR barrel Same ammo. Seems to shoot well, walked it out to 500 yards Huxwrx flow 7.62 with an Geissele H2 super42 was perfectly cycling. 20 rnd Duramags worked great too. Had 5 of them loaded up for this range session. Little hard to seat at full capacity but no fucntion issues |

I’m getting around 2510 out of my 16” with 108 ELDMs. 68 degrees 2350 DA
Sorry, haven’t messed with the 105s yet. |

Maybe the barrel a little tight? Could be a tight bore, but that’s some serious speed. What chronograph are you using? Dope is a good way to check, provided the shots are graduated and far enough. Using my 22” data, I was able to hit targets at 300yds with my 12”, just slightly lower on the plate. The 12” is several hundred fps slower than my 22”, so the velocity difference wasn’t enough to throw it off at that distance. |

I've got the same barrel coming except with the rifle +1 gas system. I'd be tickled pink if I get the same groups/velocity as you. |
