I think the green looks good! It goes well with the green text on the dial.

That's what I was going for.
Thanks guys. |

It looks ok and ties in with the text. It probably looks even better in person and in natural light?

I like it.
second hands need contrast so they don't blend in with the hour and min, making it difficult to read quickly. |

Looks good. Throw a green NATO on it and it might tie in the overall look better. Or it may be to much green.

As long as you like it op is all that matters.

I like it. I know the Rolex Air King isn't a fan favorite, but I've always liked the color scheme (w/ green seconds hand).

I’ll be the contrarian… nope.
But I think modding is cool! |

View Quote I'm not looking at this as modding, because I'm not taking an existing watch and changing things. This one, and many other of mine, are complete new builds from my ideas, or in this case copying a Rolex to some degree.. I'm using similar looking Rolex parts, but a Seiko movement, and hands of my choosing. So in essence, I'm building an entirely new watch. |

It probably look even better with a different style second hand with just the end section green? Not sure how you'd reconcile that with the other hands. After seeing your build here I'd like to try one with Seiko Monster hands actually. In fact i might buy a Chronos to do just that to.

View Quote I could pull it, and paint it, or see if I can find another that's stainless, turning to green maybe, about half way out ? I have yellow hands like that. This way, the center will blend, but the green is still there for the contrast. |

I think the 100% green second hand might be throwing something off. Its a cool accent but a bit too much? |

So far, all I've found is black turning to green.
I have a thought tho !! |

I like it just the way it is. I like the shape of the case, too, BTW.

Green second hand is a nice and different look.
The wall of text though....... |
