Ok.  I want this.  IWC Portugieser Eternal Calendar

The hands could be blued, the markings for the date dial could be better.  But a perpetual calendar that doesn't need adjustment every 100 years is awesome.  Probably useless, but still awesome.  Not sure one needs a moon phase good for 45M years.  Still has day, date, month, (4 digit) year like a normal perpetual calendar.

No listed price likely means in the 6 figure range.

IWC introduced those long perpetual calender models several years ago

They are IW503 series
They generally  all only come in a presences metal case.

They are COOL!!!!
They are about $2,000 to service
And $200 - $400 just to get it fully set, if it get off......

The pre-owned models are going in the 15k - 20k range if you are really wanting to pick one up

What does "Secular" have to do with it?  What is a secular watch?

Just the term used in the industry for a perpetual calendar, typically adjustment free for 100 years, that is instead good for 400 years (or more).  In this case, it will be good through 3999, because it has not been decided if the year 4000 will have a leap day or not yet.

Only 4 brands have created a secular perpetual calendar watch until now:

Patek Philippe Caliber 89 pocket watch
Svend Andersen Perpetual Secular Calendar
Franck Muller's Aeternitas Mega 4
Furlan Marri One Watch 2023
