I have an original 1911 13rd Canadian Para. An if you have one. You know the grip suck. So who makes a good grip for a full size Para?
I tried GUUUN. Got wrong grip. You can not get them to respond!
Thanks!

I found grip for my very old PARA. "STONER" CNC www.stonercnc.com Now they did not just drop in and fit. I had to file areas to make them fit. Using an aggressive emery board only! Some filing was for fit. Others was sharp points. In gripping and carrying. Jab me in the back. I believe the miss fit was that my frame was so old, 1988 or so. I'm guessing that over 35 years or so. The manufacture has tweaked the Para frame a bit. So I have not shot it yet. But it is a thinner grip. My Orig Pare grip was 36.54. Stoner grip is 35.61. Not much. But I can feel the difference. If it matters, they are not bad looking grips at all.
My Para was built from a frame. When that is all Para sold. My Para does hold 13 + 1. But I believe the P-13 is a smaller firearm. I would call mine a full size Para 1911. I have Ergo Grip XT on my other 1911's. I like their feel. I will look on E-bay. Buy if anyone hears anything please post.
No I don't. My Para's where build from frames. Before Pare made Fire arms. Looks like I either keep the factory grips. Or make my own. If anyone hears of grips for what I consider a full size Para. Please post it.
