Yesterday, I was cleaning and loading up my trailer for another great LCR. I was doing several things at once, naturally. Needing to anneal some copper washers for the Norton, I figured the propane stove in the trailer was as good as anything. Evidently, I forgot to turn it off. This morning, my neighbor wandered over and asked if I was cooking anything in the trailer. He thought he smelled plastic. I went to investigate and got hit with a yuge wall of black toxic smoke when I opened the door. Spent some time in the hospital, home now with modest symptoms of smoke inhalation. Everything tastes like burned plastic.
Meanwhile, the little Palomino fold up I have loved for four years is, literally, toast. If I could, I would post the 30 second video. But, I can't figure out how.
