Back for rifle elk in NM this year. I took 4 customers on their first elk hunt ever - even found a little time to sneak off afterwards. Got a fine bull + found a great dead head that I was given permission to bring home.

Scored my first elk today. 5x5 in Montana.
I can't tell you how exciting it was. Now I think I'll be trying to come out here every year.
