While it is based around the AR platform, it is entirely applicable for other rifles with detachable box magazines. These classes will teach the shooter weapons efficiency, along with giving them the correct understanding of its limitations. This is an excellent class for people wanting to build and/or sharpen their skill set. Custom zeroing is an aspect of this course that we are very well known for. Institutional zeros work well for standardized rifle setups and standardized ammunition. However, for the most part, standardizations outside of institutions doesn't exist. We will show you exactly how to setup your zero and get the most out of it, as well as PROVE your zero by taking your platform out to 300 yards. There is simply no substitute for knowing (and not assuming) what your round is doing in flight. You cannot argue your way out of science and physics. Students will presented the custom zeroing methodology, and re-zero their rifles if desired. Then through instruction and drill, we will help define their current skill set, and begin building on it. The course will start off in manipulations and marksmanship, then progress into structured drills, and use of cover/concealment. It is recommended that new students attend SR 1.0 before SR 2.0. |
