The gst prints good, but I do get clogged hotend, and occasional clicking from the extruder. I have only used the gst3d filament, so I don't have other brands to compare it too. |
|
|
I'm on my 7th roll of GST3D PLA+ and so far so good. I do occasionally have stringing issues but bumping the temp down 5c seems to fix it. They're having a sell again and I'm planning on ordering another batch.

ordered the 10 pack in all different colors. Will leave a review after I use some.
Also ordered the filament dryer on sale.. because it will make printing nylon easier even though I already use a food dehydrator. |

FYI, I received some of the Copier2go pla+ this week and have been printing with it non stop with no issues. Works the same as eSun pla+ as far as I can tell. 60c bed, 230c nozzle. Nice and smooth prints.

I've had good success printing with the MIKA3D filament. I like the shiny silk - I normally buy the 3 pack of gold, silver, and bronze. They are .5 KG spools, but you get 1.5 KG total for about the same price as single spool elsewhere. For small decorative stuff, they've been awesome.
For most other stuff, I use Prusa and Matterhackers |

If you can't take the high road, occupy the high ground.

I've got a still vacuum sealed spool of Inland TPU filament if anyone is interested in trading for pla+? It's translucent purple, which I thought would be cool for kids toys... But I'm still trying to master pla+ and could use some more of it. Not too picky on color, would like a quality brand, however... Such as Esun, 3d fuel, etc. I'll ship to you and you ship to me if we can make a trade. Thanks!
