OFF-TOPIC: foundation for my pole barn is progressing nicely...about 8" from final grade. tomorrow I'm off with dad all day to help dig the elec and water trench stuff and finish doing grading work. 12x24' full Machine shop coming prolly July timeframe. Once it's setup, I can do lots of cloney stuff, and not be at work.
ON-TOPIC: MidwayUSA has CCI CLEAN-22 poly coated in stock, I bought 2k more. This is amazingly clean and I have run prolly 500rnds through my AEM5 so far. It's prolly as clean as 5.56 tbh. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1020878670?pid=397469 |

Very old magpul RSA. I like it there as it limits sling interference on hand guard and hopefully doesn't keep pressure just on the rail. For the non FSP rifles, I typically use the provided QD mount on the rail. |

I’ve been shooting my CMMG 22LR conversion kit in several of my rifles over the past few years, always unsuppressed, but didn’t realize there were potential problems running it in chrome lined barrels. So far, I haven’t noticed any deviations in accuracy, or any other issues (other than needing extra cleaning), but I haven’t stuck a borescope in any of them either. |
