Hi everyone,

I just got a brand new BCM AR15 along with a BCM complete lower and for whatever reason my QD sling keeps disconnecting from my BCM stock. Anyone had this issue before?

Do you know what brand the QD swivels are?
Some of the cheaper ones do this.
I'd buy some different ones.
The swivels might be out of spec or something.

This. Junk QD swivels are prone to such behavior.

Sorry just seeing your reply now! I'm not really sure what size I have to be honest. They came with the sling that I bought from Ebay and it's a Magpul. It just randomly disconnects.

I bought the sling from Ebay and it's a Magpul so I'm assuming they're also made by magpul.

I'll order BCM swivels and see if it resolves the issue.

It could be the QD swivels are out of spec.

It could be that the little bearings are stuck and not engaging.

I'd put a drop of oil around each push button and give it a bunch of presses to work it in.  Sometimes the button won't release all the way, get a little flat head screw driver and just shimmy it a bunch from the sides of the buttons.  Don't pry it up real hard or anything, just work it around, gently nudging it up.

Not what you asked, but this is why I ditched push button QD's for paraclips and HK clips.

I'll try what you suggested and if that doesn't work I'll either get another QD swivel and see if that works and if not, I'll probably settle for the paraclips. I really appreciate your help and response!

For sure, good buddy.

You tried both ends of the slings QD swivels on the stock?
