Just checked and no longer on sale!!!
https://www.dsarms.com/p-17540-ds-arms-sa58-fal-primary-pistol-825-barrel-762x51mm.aspx

The catch? It’s a pistol with an 8” barrel!
Also, it’s a weekly deal so I don’t know how long the price will last.

I have one that I honestly love to shoot.

Already did the form 1 and Made it into an SBR.

Only down side is if you are planning this route DSA used a pistol lower on this so if you want to eventually put a stock on it you’ll have to swap out the lower for a traditional lower.

Here’s mine after converting to a SBR with a Rugged Radiant 762 suppressor.

Before doing the SBR paperwork I took it to the shooting range to make sure it w  ok I’ll reliably shoot and was very happy with the results.
I hadn’t gotten my suppressor yet so shooting was done with just the flash hider as it came from the factory.
I was expecting a huge fireball or it be obnoxiously loud or uncontrollable/uncomfortable recoil and I didn’t notice any of those things.
I hadn’t put any sights on it either and was just sighting down the top of the pistol to aim and was only shooting at an indoor range at 20 yards and was able to keep all my shots inside a 3”-4” circle.

I’ve wanted a SBr FAL for years. That looks nice.

Almost ordered a can of the Hirtenberg 762 but they want $44 to ship it - nope.

Shipping is expensive though.

This is a better deal.  Free shipping and I don't think they are charging tax.

I added it to my cart and it showed the discounted price of $1049.  Now I am going to have an FAL too.   Thanks OP for showing me something I didn’t know I needed.

Op, which top rail did you purchase for your gun?  I looked on DSA’s site and they have quite a few different ones available.

@onealphay2k

When I bought my pistol I got a different model from Atlantic Arms that came with the rail cover:
https://atlanticfirearms.com/sa58-fal-tactical-pistol

DSA Arms does sell a Para Railed top cover, that is most likely what you would need. To be sure though I’d call their customer service and ask which one exactly since there are a couple different ones.

Here is a link to one of them that I think should work to replace the non railed cover that comes with the pistol in the original post:

Thank you.  Mine should be here tomorrow, so thanks again for the heads up.  Another question.  Is it possible to use the existing lower receiver and add the Para stock once the form 1 comes through, or do you need to replace it by buying one with the Para Kit?  I was also looking at another option from StormWerkz which allows you to use any 1913 stock, but I think I read that the lower receiver on the pistol is different from a standard one.

The pistol lower is different. I created a prototype 1913 rear adapter for the pistol lower, will be ready soon:
