So I put this dust cover on so long ago I don’t even remember what the brand is. But lately I’ve heard a couple of people say the screws could be a weak point on these.

Should I get better ones just in case?  What do you guys recommend, and do you know the correct size?

I replaced mine with Allen head bolts. The original Flat head bolts didn't break or anything, I just felt Allen head bolts were easier to deal with. They were the best bolts I could get at the time, not sure of the Brand, it was many years ago.

Just go to mcmaster.com.
Get button-head socket cap screws. Done.
It's a dust cover. How heavy is it gonna get, covered in dust? And the present screws have lasted how long? Just choot it more, relax.
