That’s a cool looking pup. Kinda looks like a baby eatin dingo except the black muzzle.

Damn good looking dog. Soft intelligent eyes. If you can't find the owner, and don't keep him, I'll come and get him.

Quoted: Shorter fur than most gsd puppies kinda into the awkward teenage ear size though could have some belgian malinois in the mix https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcRwPbR08MAR8CqBRayPGcvK3ecGqXNO7MHpyQ&usqp=CAU View Quote Somebody posted in GD a few weeks back about the uptick in requests for Mals after that Channing Tatum movie came out. I wouldn't be surprised if one got away from an unprepared new owner. Or they just let him wander off because they didn't realize how much work they are. |

Quoted: Great loooking pup. Does not look like a pure bred GSD. View Quote You'd be surprised. That could very well be a purebred GSD. Head is too wide for a Mal. That is a GSD, and young enough that he hasn't hasn't had his 1st color change yet. GSDs will typically change coloration a few times in the first 2 years. |

That is a good looking pup regardless of the breed he turns out to be. I would make some one describe him and prove he was theirs before just handing him to a stranger.

I did the Embark DNA test on my dogs (both mutts), good way to figure out what he is plus will give you info on potential health issues if you are curious. Good looking pup!

Quoted: A neighbor found this good boy roaming a nearby neighborhood. We're actively looking for the owners but I'm prepared to keep him if they aren't found. Seems only a couple months old and very thin. Looks like a full-blooded GSD to me but I'm no expert. Your thoughts? https://www.ar15.com/media/mediaFiles/134379/IMG_7225-2410546.jpg https://www.ar15.com/media/mediaFiles/134379/IMG_7218-2410547.jpg https://www.ar15.com/media/mediaFiles/134379/IMG_7215-2410549.jpg View Quote |

Quoted: We won't be too vigilant looking for the previous owner, this was attached to his collar when we found him, plus he was skin & bones. https://www.ar15.com/media/mediaFiles/134379/leash-2411232.jpg View Quote Some idiot tied him up and didn't realize that nylon can be chewed through very quickly. I'll assume you've let Animal Control know you got him, and checked your local/county "lost pet" Facebook groups to see if anyone is missing him as well. |

Do the suggested DNA test to confirm what he is. But damn sure looks like a Maligator to me. I have 2 of the little loveable demons. If you are going to keep him. Just make sure you know what you're in for training wise and what to expect. They can be challenging to say the least.

Looks like a 4 month old ish Mal to me and the spousal unit.
Keep him if you can. Good looking dag. He will be a challenge, but loyal as hell. |

Two of our dog's trainers have Belgians. Gorgeous dogs and VERY smart. Need a lot of training, though.
But damn, they're great looking and friendly dogs. |

Sorry about all of your stuff that’s going to get chewed into pieces, OP.

Awww she’s so beautiful! GSD’s are a handful for about the first 2 years, after that they truly are the best dogs ever! We do Bark box “super chewers” for our 3 GSD’s and they are the only toys that keep up to them…plus they love the treats! Turk |
