Anyone running an optic on their 10mm? What’s durable enough?
Holosun?

For a 10mm Glock, the RMR is your best bet. I do not have a 10mm MOS model yet, but when I ever do get around to buying a G40 MOS, it will receive a RMR along with AmeriGlo suppressor/optic height sights.

Have a Holosun SCS on my m&p (available for MOS as well). I like the SCS over others for a couple reasons.
-Direct mount, uses the factory lugs, no plates to fail.
-The lowest possible mounting, so factory height sights cowitness in the bottom 1/4 perfectly.
Same exact presentation as every other M&P i have, no adjustments needed when running one with a dot.

G40 MOS with CHPWS plate and Holosun 509T

No issues.

I have several different optics including 509T, Steiner MPS, RMR-HD, Acro P2

The 509T is a solid performer over thousands upon thousands of rounds

G43 for size comparison.

I had a Trijicon RMR on my Glock 40 for a couple years and it kept blinking out, even after installing the seal plate and shimming the battery for better connection. I sold it off and replaced it with a Holosun 407A3 and now have Holosun 407/507's installed on 6 of my 7 red dot handguns, all Glocks. The 7th has a Sightmark Mini-Shot Pro M-Spec installed on a Taurus TX-22. I have several of those too installed on shotguns and they have never given me any trouble either. Those fit the Doctor footprint. I think the best bang for the buck is the Holosun 407A3 sold by Palmetto State Armory. $199 for a solid, no frills 3 MOA dot. I will say if your shooting a Glock MOS pistol, get the Forward Controls mount plate. I is a definite upgrade from the MOS plates.

Good to hear. I was worried about the SCS and heavy recoiling 10mm loads

I was a new guy to the red dot world and started out on the Leupold Delta Point Pro. I like it. I have several Glock pistols with them, G34, G35, G20, G40, G41.

Here are my 10mm pistols with the DPP. I mainly use these for hunting where the larger window is a plus IMO.

I am issued a G45 with an RMR, I still prefer the DPP.

Are others "better"? Perhaps, but the DPP gets it done for me. I've shot some stout reloads out of the 10mm pistols and so far the factory plates with aftermarket screws has been 100%.

I'm using a 509T with a  Dauntless Engineering plate on a Brownells G21 slide. I found out after reading some info on the slide I brought during the crazy price they were selling it before discontinued. It was a ZEV RMR cut with 4-40 screws. Dauntless had the adaptor plate made for the ZEV cut.

I used a leupold Deltapoint pro on mine for a while. RMR window is too dang small for me.
