I have a bad habit of buying guns that no one supports in the holster world. I bought an echelon recently and was surprised with the underwhelming number of holsters available...considering how much attention the gun is getting I thought there'd be more holster options...so what are some places that support the echelon? Particularly iwb, light bearing but feel free to add any variation.

I have a Safariland coming at some point.
Copquest is quite slow but cheaper than most places. |

I was on that site recently and must have overlooked that one, thanks!

I've bought a few IWB holsters from Bordertown and have been happy with them. They do show the echelon as available. $45, $5 extra for a light. The pull down menu shows lots of lights he can work around. Quick shipping, stupid strong steel belt clip as standard. |

We the people IWB for it with the TLR-1 fairly comfy, my kt mech might outdo it tho.
Would have loved it if I could have gotten anywhere with vedder. |

Muddy River Tactical also supports the Echelon…ordered a holster for my soon to be Echelon yesterday.

I just got my Echelon and tested it in my legacy holsters. It's good in the UM-84 and I have an long discontinued Uncle Mike's premium jacket slot holster that was for a Ruger P89 that fits it. I got a Crucial Concealment OWB belt loop for now, but I prefer a paddle for EDC.
CORRECTION: The jacket slot holster is still made. Well sheet fire! |

I am honestly going to say this without reservation, KTmech all the way all day and on Sunday.
Holy hell that thing is comfy with the TRL-1 and optic, HAD issues with other pistols and holsters in the same ride configuration of being straight up and down but the KT rides lower and is comfy. I thought the slight curve would be digging into my hip but NOPE. LOVE the protection of the of the mag release the KT has. |

I hope @mick214 passed on good info. Just ordered the Black Scorpion paddle for OWB EDC. Also bought a 15 round magazine at PSA as the 20 round mags are a bit tall in the mag carrier. They are fine in the outdoor tac belt pouches.

Okay, I just got the Black Scorpion OWB paddle in the mail. Nice if it was a little thicker, but it is serviceable. I set the cant about halfway forward to make wearing it seated in the car better. Being a paddle, it can be slid forward if needed.
A few days and I'll review any short coming. |

|
OK, the Scorpion is good as an OWB paddle. Turns out that the 1791 leather multiposition holster for the XD9 also fits the Eschelon but there's alot of gun above the belt. I put it on but haven't went out with it yet.

Any suggestions for AIWB? Or better question, is AIWB realistic? Looking to pick up an Echelon. From what I could tell, seems like AIWB is manageable?
|
|
|
I'm 5'10" and the Echelon 4 1/2 inch standard size frame is a bit large to AIWB. I've carried a 4" compact XD AIWB. They are supposed to be coming out with different frame sizes.

|
Apparently, as of this post they have the small frame in black, standard texture.
I didn't know they had the little ones yet. https://www.midwayusa.com/product/1026566353/?pid=553041 |

It looks like Trex has options for Echelons in their whole range. https://www.trex-arms.com/product-category/holster-categories/

No idea why Tier 1 and trex took so long to get in the game....
I have a safariland and QVO with a tier1 AIWB on the way |

A question of etiquette... As i pass ..Do I give you the ass or the crotch..??
