Heading your way in a few days.
I can carry under LEOSA (retired) and a Florida permit. Other than the flight, will I need to check handgun (concealed) anywhere in particular? We plan to see a couple shows and are only going there for a destination wedding. Staying at Caesars.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Stay safe

legally if it is not a government building they would have to ask you to leave/check the weapon and you refuse before they could trespass you.

Publicly owned/government buildings will have signs and or metal detectors at every entrance.

I really couldn't tell you if any casinos have stepped up detection or enforcement of any internal no weapons policies they may have. I have never had it be an issue.

What Obo2 said.  On private property (casinos) concealed means concealed.  The only time you'll run afoul with Johnny Law is if the property owner finds out you're carrying, asks you to leave, and you refuse.

The only places I've seen metal detectors are at the entrances to concert/sports venues. Although I've heard they're either being added or have already been added to the Freemont Street Experience.  Don't know the status of that.

Thank you for the info.
Like wearing a seatbelt …
Better to have it and not need it.

Don't advertise. Leave the 5.11 tactical pants, pack, and fanny rig at home.

Some shows have metal detectors, so plan accordingly. I went to Celine Dion at Caesars. They let me lock it up in a locker. It was a good thing because the show was so bad my gun would have been tempting to end the suffering

Apparently, the casinos in the South (Las Vegas) have gotten more adamant about trying to prevent you from carrying in them. As I recall, there was even a bill introduced in the legislature last session trying to actually criminalize having a gun on the premises (though it didn't pass).

Please see below video of a gun reviewer's experience:

Of course, I don't know firsthand being a Northie that only passes through the South from time to time.

Make sure that you take your gun and ammo out of your suite case before you get to your hotel.  That video in the post above is crazy.

I was in LV last weekend... carried in many casinos no problem.   The only place I couldn't was T-Mobile arena because they had metal detectors and a no weapon policy.
