School's out for summer
My "I'm going to" plans seem to fall through mostly through no fault of my own (honest). I'm thinking of taking my kids to Omega Mart which I guess what Meow Wolf is called in Vegas. Is this place appropriate for kids? They have some super weird rules like I think they're saying they allow pot but you can't smoke inside? https://faq.meowwolf.com/is-there-a-code-of-conduct Is there anywhere nearby that the kids would like to eat at and stay at? I only go to Vegas basically "for business" flying in and out, getting my truck fixed, picking up paperwork? How much of a dump is it? I see obviously homeless drugs shit head petty criminal types stumbling around. IDGF but my kids have had a sheltered life I don't want kids to have to flee while I square off against a bum like in SLC :/ It'll just be me and the kiddos, wifey Pooh has work. |

My wife has been there a couple times. She said it's for adults, nothing there for kids to do. Lots of alcohol. She's been there for EDM music things.

There is always adventure done a shithole circus, the observation wheel at the Q, Rollercoaster at NY-NY, rides at the top of the Strat.

Take them to the stratosphere and ride the big shot on top. They will love it. New York New York rollercoaster is also a lot of fun for kids.
Just west of the Palms casino is a go cart place called pole position. Think go carts that go 3x faster then the ones at fiesta fun with a lot longer race track. A lot of fun. There is a lion habitat at the south end of town where you can spend the day looking at lions and other animals. My kids fed a giraffe there and loved it. Lots to do for kids in Vegas if you go to the right spots. |
