Is it always wrong?  It seems like it might help to reduce trigger induced sideways motion.

Not strong enough to pull the trigger with one finger. Or less hooter bounce.

Shouldn’t be a finger strength issue unless it’s a heavy DA revolver trigger.

In that case I’d recommend putting the trigger face out to the first knuckle indent on the trigger finger rather than using two fingers.
