Since April.  Before then, I always did my own thing in the gym and my workouts were more bodybuilding style.  531 is my first real "routine".  So, I had a good foundation to start with. and I reset my numbers in August to reflect what I got at my meet on July 31.  I slowed down squats this month by only adding 5lbs instead of 10lbs since I felt like progress there is slowing down and I don't wanna reset back a couple months yet.

Had nasty stomach problems about 15 min prior to pulling this which made it that more satisfying.  As a result, I only had energy for 1 accessory deadlift set afterwards.  Still did some abs, calves, light conditioning, and light hammer curls (rehabbing a minor strain in right bi).  Play the Deftones video at the same time as my video to hear what I was hearing during the set.

This week I upped the accessory lifts to 60% of max on everthing except deads. I LIKE it. I will probably have to drop them back down when the main lifts get harder but for now it feels great.

I hit 8-10 reps(5 rep req.) on the last sets this week and the girlfriend told me my back is looking awesome.

Right on.  I don't usually do percentages, just a weight I know I can get for the prescribed reps without puking, which can be a fine line at times.

Yeah, I have 3 cups but, 1 is a pos and the other 2 were both upstairs.  DOMS are nearly non-existent today.  Probably cuz of the 150g of protein and several servings of aminos I had last night.  Xtend ftw

Luck you! I'm still sore as shit from Saturday mornings squat adventures. No deads today, maybe tomorrow night.

I am VERY skeptical of supplements. Are you completely sold on Xtend?

I think it helps.  I got a butt ton of Xtend on sale for cheap since they update to version 2 a little while ago so I've been using a lot of it.  I'm a pretty big fan of glutamine too.  Both seem to help with DOMS.

I will check it out. The protein powder I'm on has BCAAs in it although I'm not sure how much of what kind, I always figured they where snake oil so I never checked into it.

My recovery time is dildos so maybe some magic potion will help me out

lol, that just seems like common sense to me.  I don't mix anything fruit flavored with milk unless I'm making a smoothie.  BTW, blue raspberry is the best flavor.

Yeah, I rarely even drink milk but I wanted a few quick carbs and BCAAs at the same time and I normally don't care what stuff taste like.

I will look for some blue raspberry next time. Not a big fan of watermelon but that's all they had.

The way I usually use Xtend is as a way to make hydration easier (since blue rasp is so delicious) and as an intra-workout.    Otherwise I have trouble force feeding myself enough water for the day.
