Thanks for offering this on a reasonably priced optic! I don't mind Chinese made stuff as long as honest Americans are standing behind it ... you can count on some of my future business.

its great to see companies stand behind their product. Henry Repeating Arms has a great warranty as well.

In Italy for 30 years under the Borgias they had warfare, terror and murder, but they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and the Renaissance. In Switzerland they had 500 years of democracy and peace and what did that produce? The cuckoo clock

I will be getting in touch with your repair department. I bought a Crossfire from Liberty Optics a couple of weeks ago. Last night, when I was mounting the scope, I noticed there was something rattling to the rear of the scope. I would have opted for the Viper series, but the V Brite reticle was not offered in the Viper Line.

Our CS will take care of it for you and should be able to repair it or get you a new scope ASAP. We should be back in on Monday and you can reach them at 1-800-426-0048. Let me know if you need anything. -Sam |

Sam,
I went with Vortex because of the outstanding CS of your products. I called last week to inquire about the Hurricane binos and your rep I spoke to was good. In the past three weeks I purchased two of your products and I look forward to future purchases. I hope your company considers offering the V-brite in the Viper line. I really didn't want the Crossfire, but I wanted the V-brite for varmint hunting. I know the Vipers are offered in the Illuminated mil-dot, but for me the illumination in mil-dot is overkill for predators/varmint. On a side note...I work in the repair department for Streamlight, so if you have any of our products or you have any questions. Feel free to PM me or call me. Does Vortex offer T&E to customers? I hear your company will be offering a tactical line sometime soon. |

Right now we don't have any plans to add the V-brite to the Viper line, but you should see some other illuminated reticles coming next year. I can't give out any more details at this point in that though. I'll definitely keep you in mind about the Streamlight products. I don't have any right now, but there is the possibility at some point in the future we may want to talk to you about something. Just out of curiosity, do you guys make any IR flashlights? We do some limited T&E for customers, but mostly we have LE and a lot of military doing T&E for us right now. The best thing to do if you are interested in doing T&E would be to contact my brother Joe about that. He's the sales manager and you can reach him by calling our office at 1-800-426-0048. -Sam |

Very interesting. Seeing how I am in the market for a new scope for my air rifle...it eats scopes.

Yeh air rifles are the worst. They tend to kill NVGs too. The fact they are spring powered causes two sharp recoils on the scope. The first one when the pellet is fired and the second as the spring resets. Most simple scopes hold up but once you start adding more ajustments and electronics they are done for.

This was the main reason I purchased the SPARC, besides the great review that preacherman did on the SPARC. Its pretty funny you never see that with EOTECH or others, everyone gives them a pass because you are not a Cool Kid if you say anything negative about those other brands. I am starting to hear things about battery drain and others about the other guys on diffirent forums now.

I have strange feeling that my Amex is moving around in my wallet I do not expect problems, you seem to have good record, but ..... happens. I always liked to give a go for new players - I were first to use IOR on long range competitions here, but know they started to think they are S&B so time to move on |

I am very interested in a SPARC, but your website states it IS NOT covered by your unconditional lifetime warranty, only a LIMITED "manufacturer defect" warranty, as all your red dots now carry.
Is this a change or are only glass scopes covered under your VIP warranty? |

Although they technically do not have the VIP warranty we essentially treat them the same way. -Sam |

Just wanted to say thank you to Vortex for the quick service. I had to send in my SPARC, bought it two years ago and it had an issue with not turning on sometimes and also not turning off sometimes. I just stuck it in the safe for over a year and then decided to do something with it so I called Vortex. Long story short, lady was very nice on the phone, I sent it in and was sent a brand new SPARC which was in my hands in less than a week.

Should have my SPARC in from Brownells tomorrow. Can't wait to mount it. I got screwed out of a higher-end dot by a member here and after much research I picked the SPARC for my AR. It seems to be very rugged and the best yalue for the money. Good to see some competition for the dot world.

So I talked to the guys and gals over at vortex today, about sending my PST 8.5-24-50 ffp back, and got that squared away, now comes the high five about the scope, I'm diabetic and was hunting out in the boon dock, my sugar dropped super low, and as I attempted to jump In truck and make it to road, as you might now low blood sugar makes you kind of loopy, i started to head for the road and heard the horrible sound and a bump. I look under the truck and there is my rem 700 ran over. The Harris bi pod, perfect condition took the run over, the scope held true the illuminated reticle still worked, the only issue was the windage knob snapped off clean, out side of that I have to say that joker is tuff as nails. Is a quarter ton truck can run over it and it still is operational I'm sold. Thanks vortex for all the help and standing by your VIP warranty, I recommend any one reading this look in to their products, thank you and I look forward to doing business with you again in the future.
