Did everyone quit making the A2 uppers? Seems like no one has stock.

The nice thing about it is that you can swap the lower and the handguard out in 30 seconds and have retro styling. I go back and forth on stuff a lot so that’s likely to happen. |

I have a little "Commando" clone that I swap out the furniture almost every time I actually go use it. It gets the old carbine handguards and the small CAR stock when it sits in the safe and when I get it out to fondle it...but I hate shooting it with that little CAR stock on it and I hate the stock handguards...but it sure looks good for pictures with that old retro stuff on it! I also don't particularly like the A2 grip, but that stays on most of the time. |

View Quote Correctness hasn't been the goal for me, but the 3 prong just looks off for my taste but it works so idk. Fortunately I have been messing with it on my SBR lower just with different furniture so I could see what I liked the best. If I didn't want to suppress it I would just SBR another lower and run a A2. maybe I will have to build another |

Finally finished my build after few weeks of putting off!
Fit and finish is great. PSA M16A2 lower and TT A2 upper have a slight slop but nothing too bad. All in all can’t wait to shoot and sight it in. Hopefully I’ll figure out how to post pictures soon. |

Finally found a A2 upper, once that, and the BCG and Gas tube show up and its time to slap it together....

Can anyone comment about the color of the anodizing of the Thunder Tactical A2 stripped uppers? Will it match closely to the anodizing on PSA standard lowers?

But tracking says Fed Ex delivery tomorrow. So I may get to shoot it this weekend yet. |

Do the Thunder Tactical uppers have forging marks on them? Looking at the pics it appears there are none.

Got mine today. As advertised M4 feedramps, very good quality. Finish is dark but I have a lower that will match.

I received mine yesterday. Everything appears to be perfect. It's nice to have M4 ramps. I am really happy to have another A2 to build. Hopefully JSE will do another run soon.

Dumb question, but looking at drawings the difference between f marked and non f marked is not much.
I have an f marked carbine barrel I want to pare with an a2 upper. This as simple as adjusting the front sight post, or am I better off replacing? |
